Clash Royale is a game that I started in February and continue to play to this day. I like to pop a game from last year onto these lists, something that I missed, but ended up taking a ton of my time. Even with the limited time I had, I got to play some ridiculously cool games, and I’m excited for what 2018 brings, even if it’s just time to burn through my backlog. So I haven’t played Breath of the Wild or Persona 5, and probably can’t until I have more time to play video games (it’d be great if Capitalism crumbled). A lot of my gaming choices were made with opportunity cost in mind-something had to look really cool to play, and I couldn’t justify games that I knew would take over a huge amount of time. I left Games Done Quick (amiably) at the start of the year to work production at a Mobile Games Studio, and I’ve had way less time to play games, even though I’m helping make them. Personally, this has been a tough year to play video games. You can often find him streaming on Twitch, or tweeting on Twitter. Chris has previously appeared at numerous GDQs and gaming websites to promote speedruns and show off Cool Stuff. Shifty enters Stone's office at the top of the tower, dodges the hail of gunfire from Stone's twin machine guns, and kills him.Chris Grant is a project coordinator at MZ who you may remember as the former media relations manager at Games Done Quick. This causes it to go haywire, shifting objects randomly, before it explodes and dies. Shifty battles through the many obstacles and guards that Stone shifts in his way, finally destroying the machine's core. He reveals that he has studied Shifty and used the real mega-plutonium as a power source for a machine that can teleport anything everywhere. Nyx, shocked, orders Shifty to kill him, but Stone disappears. Nyx at first intends to extract Shifty, but they encounter Stone again soon after. There, he encounters Stone, who seems to die in a large explosion. He fights his way to a computer terminal, where he re-establishes radio contact with Nyx, who guides him to the surface. Shifty awakes deep underground in a cell filled with a shift blocker, but punches through the wall to freedom. At the end of the chapter, Stone sedates Shifty with noxious gas in the elevator, saying Shifty should have accepted his offer. Stone is impressed by Shifty's abilities and offers him a job, but Shifty ignores him. Shifty, undaunted, decide to continue by killing Stone, who contacts Shifty by radio. Shifty infiltrates the building's lower floors and locates the mega-plutonium, but it is a decoy and a bomb. They aim to steal a dangerous weapon called the "mega-plutonium", to prevent its use for nefarious purposes by the evil Chairman Stone. Shifty, in radio contact with his superior Nyx, breaches Olympus Tower, the offices of Stone Corp. The player can lose them temporarily by going through walls with teleportation, but they will use the next closest path to the player. The game has some stealth elements with enemies able to try and find the player if they spot or hear anything. Shifty's teleportation is short range but can allow him to bypass doors and walls for a sneak attack. Tridents are thrown in straight lines and kill all the enemies they come in contact. Shifty is also able to weapons including throwing tridents. Shifty is skilled at close combat, able to knock out most baddies with a quick close combo. The goal is to get to the floor's elevator to access the next part of the building. Shifty is a fast-paced action game played from the top-down perspective. Shifty use his teleportation power to bust through a building to steal a plutonium core. Shifty is a fast paced action game released on the Nintendo Switch published by tinyBuild.
