I feel like they push and they push and they push their fans, and no one ever stands up and says "You know what, I'm kind of tired of this." I liked that the Wii ended up being a dud (not sales-wise, as a gamer's console I mean) because it lead to things like Nintendo Direct, with them letting us know what we're interested in without waiting months or weeks at a time for press conferences and conventions. I've never had a bad experience with Nintendo, they just do things (like what I'm complaining about here) that deter me from using their products. That being said, have you had a bad experience with Nintendo or do you just disagree with the approach they've taken in the last decade? If you haven't noticed already, complaining about downvotes in an edit is the fastest way to accrue more. I don't disagree with your sentiment at all, I disagree with the wording of your original post and propensity to immediately insult an entire subreddit when people downvote you. Not to mention the people who plan on buying it later and will miss out on the initial DLC releases. I mean, honestly it makes perfect sense from a business perspective to allow anyone to access it as it would serve as a major incentive to buy the game for people who had collected a fair amount of DLC over a couple weeks/months. I understand being shitty about not having access to DLC that's free for thoe who own the game already. I criticize Nintendo all the time, they're far from perfect but I still enjoy a number of their products. You were likely being downvoted for your lack of tact and subsequent use of the dreaded F-word upon receiving said downvotes, not your criticism of Nintendo.
